Weekly Journal Prompt - Write a letter

This week's Journal Prompt of the Week is letter writing. Writing letters in a journal is different because you won't actually send this letter. You get to say what you need to say but might not have to courage to or aren't ready to.

You can use journal letters for closure, grief, clarity, and closure. You can write to another person, you at a different age, even someone you've never met. You can write to an emotion, a characteristic, or a desire. Use your imagination!

Start your letter, "Dear__________," and start writing. Once your letter is written, keep it. If you are new to journal writing I encourage you to use a timer and just write for 10 minutes. This helps you get into the flow a bit quicker. You'll be amazed how fast 10 minutes can go! Have fun with this one and enjoy.
