Here's how Book Club works - at the start of each month, or the week before, I'll post the book for the month. You have all month to read it! At the end of the month I'll post questions, share some of my notes about the book, and ask you to participate in the comments section. In this book club we will focus on books that make you feel good. You can always see the monthly book selection on the side bar.
MARCH BOOK CLUB SELECTION:
How is it March already?! Here in Portland Spring has welcomed itself. It feels very early but the Dogwoods and Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom and it is such a welcome sight. As you shed winter, spring is a natural time of renewal, growth, and flow.
This is why I've selected 'Taking the Leap' by Pema Chodron as our book club read this month. I think it's a nice welcome into this new season. In this short (100 pages, exactly) read Pema Chodron walks you through how to accept and detach from your fears. I find her approach unique in that she isn't asking you to shed them but welcome them in a very intentional way. Learn from them but let go of their story or what you think your fears say about you.
Read it, I know you'll love it! Book club discussion will take place right here on Tuesday, March 31st. I’ll post a few questions and give my input BUT I really want to hear from you! Enjoy this read. It's one of the best books I've ever read.
