September Book Club: The Four Agreements
Book Club is back! Last year I hosted a book club in my coaching space for 12 months. We read some amazing books. Some we will revisit this year too. I like all kinds of books - fiction, biography, DIY, memoir, and self-help. In this book club we will focus on books that make you feel good. Like our September book - The Four Agreements. Books that teach and guide. Books that open your eyes to big ideas. Books that stretch what you know about yourself. And books that help you live a more whole life.
Yes, these will mostly all be found in the self-help section. It's ok. You'd be amazed what they've done with self-help books in the past 20 years. They are amazing! I'm going to guide you the entire way. I loved meeting every month, and maybe some time I will bring it back. But I was also very excited by my favorite bloggers and their blog-based book club. Thanks ladies for the inspiration! If you like fun fiction, join their club!
Here's how it will work - at the start of each month, or the week before, I'll post the book for the month. You have all month to read it! At the end of the month I'll post questions, share some of my notes about the book, and ask you to participate in the comments section. You can always see our monthly book selection on the side bar. And I'm always open to book recommendations. Ready? Let's do it!
September Book Club Selection:
The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz
This is a book I like to read every year, if not twice a year. It's that good. And yet it's barely over 100 pages. Read it, I know you'll love it. Book club discussion will take place right here on Monday, September 29th. I'll post a few questions and give my input BUT I really want to hear from you! Enjoy this read, it's a good one as we enter a new season. Happy reading!
Please note: As a Portland dweller, I am a big fan of Powell's Books. I link to their online store for all book club picks but am not an affiliate.
