It takes courage...

This is a post from Aleda Fitness we published in September. Christine at Aleda Fitness wrote this one morning and it was one of those things that just sort of poured out of her. Learn more about Christine here! It really does take courage when we decide to do something new in our life. That is what this is about.  Which statements stand out the most to you? It takes heroic acts of courage to change, to put yourself out there, to be vulnerable, to do what you say you’re going to do, to live emotionally free, to take risks, to commit, to live on purpose and with intention, to stand for what you believe in, to break down bad habits, to ask more of yourself, to believe in yourself, to grow and learn about yourself, to become more and be better, to not stay small, to reach your full potential, to achieve things you never thought possible, to take responsibility for your choices, to follow through, to ask the tough questions…and answer them, to grow from failure, to fail forward, to act in spite of fear, to have a whatever it takes attitude, to never  – EVER give up, to be consistent, to be compliant, to start…and to finish what you start, to have a positive attitude, to be a positive influence, to bounce back up when you fall, to bring your best – everyday, to stretch yourself, to leave your comfort zone, to make healthy choices, to do the right thing even when nobody is watching, to let go of things that aren’t serving you, to inspire others, to make someone else’s day even if you’re having a bad one, to give without receiving anything in return, to show up for yourself everyday, to inspire greatness in others, to invest in yourself and your future, to lift others up, to always have a great day, to exemplify humility, to never settle for second best, to remove self-doubt, to remove negative language from your vocabulary, to admit you are wrong, to be successful, to be patient for the things you want, to trust the process, to be vulnerable, to be selfless, to believe YOU are possible, to change your life, to ask for help, to lead by example, to challenge yourself to be great, to have an open mind and an open heart, to set goals and to meet them, to get rid of negative people in your life, to make lots of mistakes and learn from them, to overcome obstacles, to really examine yourself, to realize your character is a choice, to make good choices versus leaving your life up to chance, to have faith in others, to empower others, to do what you need to do…even when you don’t feel like doing it, to be legendary, to love yourself without judgment, to chase what you love, to find a coach or mentor, to never stop improving, to take on the biggest challenges to do something great with your life, to get out of your own way, and to give life all you’ve got.

As we embark on a new month tomorrow this is a good day to set new intentions - if you were to act with personal courage in November what would that include? If you were inspired by this post please share below or forward to a friend and make their day too.
