Guidepost #9: Cultivate Meaningful Work - Let go of Self-Doubt & 'Supposed to'
You are more than the work you do – you are the causes you support, the way you show care to your friends, how you embrace your most authentic beliefs, and how you show compassion to the world around you. One of the biggest struggles I hear in my work is people not feeling like they're living on purpose.
It's common to seek purpose in your work but your life is your work. What if you change the title to "Cultivate a Meaningful Life" how would this change your perspective on purpose?
Embrace living a meaningful life. This doesn't mean you have to do something BIG, it means you get to do things with intention. Chances are the things that are best for you are also best for others.
What if you lived your life by speaking kindly to yourself? By trusting your community? By lending a helping hand? Don't fear if you're doing enough - a life of loving intention is more than enough. It all starts from within you.
