Weekly Journal Prompt: What is my self-doubt teaching me?
Each week I gift a Weekly Journal Prompt for you to try on in your journal. As a part of my quest to help you be inspired by keeping a journal, I want to be your guide. You can see and write from all Weekly Journal Prompts here. Thanks for joining in!
This week's Journal Prompt of the Week is all about releasing self-doubt. In a recent survey I took for my upcoming journal course, I asked what your top two questions about self-doubt were. You asked some great questions! But one thing was consistent across the board - self-doubt plagues us all in some form or another. But what fascinated me most of all is that most of you asked what good can come from self-doubt and when is it actually a positive thing? I address that a little in this post here.
However, I offer this - self-doubt can be a powerful teacher. It means that some part of your life is not in alignment with your highest good. When we use self-doubt as a guide or a teacher then we can gleam whatever insight it has to offer. It doesn't just have to be this total nag. Use today's prompt to discover what your self-doubt is teaching you. Later this week I'll share about my recent personal wake up call that came as a wave of self-doubt and how I used that experience to change the course of my life.
If you are new to journal writing I encourage you to use a timer and just write for 10 minutes. This helps you get into the flow a bit quicker. You'll be amazed how fast 10 minutes can go! Have fun with this one and enjoy. -Andrea
