As an intuitive I forget that tuning into your intuition isn't a given for everyone. Let me preface this by saying we are ALL intuitive. It's up to you how much you want to use your intuition, strengthen it, or rely on it. Today I offer you 3 Simple Ways to Tune into your Intuition. I'm starting here because before you can use it for all it's good for you need to see that it does in fact exist! What can you use your intuition for? Think of your intuition as your own internal navigation system. Like a GPS for your life. You can take your biggest questions and your biggest fears to your intuition and it will navigate the way. Now I must say this - your intuition works every single time whether you like the answers or not. It's power is in how much you trust it and take its guidance to heart. 

It's not uncommon to ask your intuition for guidance and find doubt immediately seep in. Why? Because we humans LOVE concreteness. We've wired together concreteness with what you can see, hear, smell, taste, and touch. But what about what you can sense and feel? Where do these fit in?

This sixth sense is not as rational as the others so it's easy to disregard its truth. But I assure you - it's the most powerful tool you have at your disposal every single day. Why? Because you don't have to DO anything or GO anywhere. All you have to do is stop, tune in, and listen.

Try each of these tools. One will work better for you than another. I personally like to use my journal and meditation for dialoguing with my intuition. My intuition always knows the most perfect path for me to take. Sometimes that path is messy and challenges me but this is part of life! As I mentioned before - you may not always love what your intuition has to say but this is ok. Listen anyway!

Journal with your intuition 

One of my all time favorite journal techniques is to write a dialogue between myself and my intuition. It's really simple and always yields incredible results. Trust the process on this one. You start by writing a question for your intuition. Then write from your intuition's point of view - be your intuition's interpreter. Don't be surprised how well this technique works. You'll re-read your intuition's answers and find that you don't really recall writing that!

Tune into your gut feelings

Have you ever heard someone say, "I had a gut feeling"? The most common physical reaction to your intuition is in your gut. You may also feel your pulse quicken, your palms get sweaty, or lots of energy all of a sudden. This is because your intuition or 'gut reaction' can kick off a flight or fight reaction. These are all a byproduct of that reaction. What's responsible for this surge of sensation? Your adrenal gland is and it lives just above your kidneys. You literally get a 'gut feeling'. Tune into this! See how often over the next week your intuition signals go off.
